Friends, in the above video I am going to tell you about the procedure of cosmetic rhinoplasty. In this, we are taking grafts from the nasal septum and using them in dorsal augmentation.

First, we have given full anesthesia to the patient. After that marking for rhinoplasty started. The marking is generally used for open Rhinoplasty. Then, Septoplasty has begun. In this, the nasal septum is separated. After the septum separation, the graft has been harvested. Now septal graft is removed, which is then used in dorsal augmentation.

Now, after the removal of the septal graft internal osteotomy has been done. In this, the bones below the nasal and auxiliary bone have been fractured. The bones are fractured very carefully. After that pressing of the bones has done. This helps us in reducing the width of the nose. It gives the narrow shape of the nose in place of your original broad nose.

Friends, now we do Rasping for hump reduction or for any irregularities. The septal cartilage is cut into 3 tubular shape pieces. After that suture of these three pieces have been done. Then, this is put inside on the top of the nose. This is used in increasing the height of the nose, called dorsal augmentation. Then, the suture is done for closure. After that dressing has been done.
